The family that takes pictures together, stays together? Well, maybe on these new Thomson Family Adventure trips to Costa Rica and Peru, where families join wildlife biologist and professional photographer Chris Gamel. On these special tours, families have the opportunity to learn from a professional educator and photographer about the world of photography and wildlife in a fun and exciting way while also capturing beautiful images to commemorate the adventure.
I am not a professional photographer, but I love to take photos. I also love watching my children take photos, although I would recommend a tour like this for older children, such as teens an tweens, bonding through the lens of a camera and enjoying wildlife together as a family are sure to create an unforgettable family vacation.
Gamel will be joining families on Thomson Family Adventures’ Costa Rica Multi-Sport Adventure, which departs March 15th, 2014; the Costa Rica Teen Adventure departing March 22nd; and Thomson’s Peru: Land Of The Ancient Inca tour. These tours give families the chance to learn, practice and perfect their photography skills while exploring some of Costa Rica and Peru’s most fascinating wildlife, landscapes, culture, people and history through the lens of a camera.
